Un giorno con un po di piove

An end to another fantastic day in Firenze.

Joseph was happy to wake up a lot last night so we both slept fairly late this morning.  Thankfully, Jacob & I have embraced Italian life to the extent that I can arrive at the show leisurely - he is just happy to have me there to help support for part of the time.

We had a great day at Pitti - lots of interest in the products from around the world and some potential deals in the works.  There was a steady stream of traffic throughout the morning so I am going to try to get there earlier tomorrow so that I can support.  I'll still plan on a half-day but perhaps will have Mom bring Joseph to me for one of his "meals".

In the afternoon, we got some rain which unfortunately caught Mom & Joseph at the Boboli Gardens.  Mom got him home and all was well.  I met them here and we stayed indoors for a bit while the rain cleared.  Then we headed out for some delicious ribollita and salad.  We walked around through the city and ended up being able to get into the Accademia to see the David.  Just enough for the day.

We headed home and rested for a bit - letting Joseph stretch his legs while we put our feet up.  Around 8 we headed out to have a light dinner on the corner - delicious as usual.  Mom had spaghetti with lardo and orange while I had gnocchetti with carciofi.  We split a ricotta torta for dessert and then headed home.

Ready for more adventures tomorrow.  xoxo
