Buon Giorno! We woke to a cloudy sky and Amanda left for the show a little later around 10:00am. Joseph and Nana left for a long walk to Bobeli Gardens. It was a beautiful garden with many fountains and sculptures and lovely narrow paths through the greenery. Joseph had a bottle sitting by a pond. There were lots of pigeons and very few people. We wondered around for a few hours and then it began to rain. It rained on our walk back to the apartment. We stayed relatively dry and Amanda came back to the apartment around 2:45pm. We were both hungry so we walked to a restaurant down the street and had a fabulous lunch of Ribollita and anchovie salad. It was warm and so pleasant and the food was very good. We then walked to Ferragamo to browse and on to the Accademia Galleria to see "The"David. It is a small and quite beautiful display of religious art and Michalangelo sculptures. We walked through the Mercato San Lorenzo, which was an open market with stall after stall of leather goods, T- shirts and basically stuff.  From here to walked to the Piazza Signoria where the Neptune Fountain sits. Everything looks so attractive at night. We also enjoyed some delicious gelato. We then went back to the apartment to rest after a long day. We were still full from lunch so we passed on dinner tonight.
